Mera Peak Expedition

20 Days

Mera Peak Expedition is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. It is situated on the edge of the popular Khumbu Region, which is commanded by Mount Everest. Although very high, Mera Peak is a straightforward climb and is frequently ascended by groups and individuals whose only climbing capabilities are that they are fit and have an out-going feeling of adventure.

The trek takes us south from the airstrip at Lukla, trekking through excellent forested slopes and over several passes before climbing up to the Mera La. After the climb, we descend straightforwardly to Lukla.

The Mera Expedition is a high-elevation trek and climb and members should be fit and familiar with the utilization of an ice-ax and crampons. The guideline in the utilization of these will be given at our base camp close to the Mera La if required. In great conditions, it is feasible for a fit gathering to achieve the summit and come back to base camp in one day. This is a compensating knowledge as it gives sublime perspectives of Nepal and a vista that takes in Kangchenjunga and Makalu to the east and Everest showing up finished the huge southern part of Nuptse and Lhotse toward the north. Toward the west stands the towers of Ama Dablam and Kang Taiga and out there is the relentless bastion of Cho Oyu. This is a fine display of a significant number of the world’s most noteworthy pinnacles.

The climb itself takes the north face glacier in a relentless ascent to the summit edge which leads, in an uncovered and energizing circumstance, to the best. After the mountain has been climbed, we return to an immediate course over a sensational edge to Lukla and the flight to Kathmandu.
